After triggering the Twilit Kargaroc cutscene, wait for the Twilit Bulblin to stop firing arrows at you. Turn into a human and make sure that the Kargaroc is coming after you. Get into the water and put on the iron boots to sink down in the water. When the Kargaroc tries to follow you into the water, it will kill the Bulblin allowing you to immediately head up Zora's River.
The problem with the original method was that if you performed the Faster Kargoroc Battle you would have to transform at the start to prevent the camera from going crazy, this meant to had very little time to setup the clip with a nice camera. Further more flying below the map and getting back in bounds without voiding was somewhat hard. With this Kargoroc clip later on you don't have to worry about the camera, furthermore since you clip out of the left side you do not have to go under the map when flying OoB. This means there is no risk of voiding out after getting the clip. This method still saves 6s.
Here are some visual ques to help with the easier clip, flying to the right will help make give the same angle as in the pictures.
Right after the start of the Kargaroc flying sequence it is possible to save around 6 seconds by taking the Kargaroc out of bounds and flying around the cave.
The clip is kinda precise and on the way to the Loading Zone you have to fly high enough or you will void.
Note that if you did Faster Kargaroc Battle you have to transform first to prevent the camera from going crazy.
It is 0.86s faster to hug the left wall at the start and skip killing the first bug as it will catch up with you later as shown in the video below
It is possible with careful positioning and the direction you knock the bug, to manipulate the bug's movement so he will start charging at you from far away. This means you can then backhop and attack him as his invulnerability disappears, doing this causes the bug to hang around near the plank meaning you can grab onto him earlier than waiting for him to attack again. Please note you have to wait slightly before the regrab otherwise the bug is too low and you will simply rebound off him
It is possible to clip through the wall in the Cucoo Minigame house and fall right into Lake Hylia.
Note that the video shows TPHD which makes the clip significantly easier due to removed sword recoil.
Once at Death Mountain ready to warp the meteor to Zora's Domain, Dash behind the chained rock and transform into human before the meteor falls CS. Then warp the meteor to Zora's Domain as human. There is a 3 frame window where you can sidehop right to skip the midna text, if you get this just hold down-right and put on the boots to go under the arch, otherwise hold down and roll to get to the arch then use the boots. Going under the arch skips the trigger for Rutela CS.
During the twilight once you have collected the tear in Zora's Domain you will have to skip the trigger again. To do this optimally you should B attack the wall to get the bug to fly, stand by the passed out zora and charge a B attack, release this to hit the bug between you and the wall, while the tear is forming dash behind the pillar and transform, finally Jump Attack the tear and then use boots to go under the arch.
Once outside you must be careful not to get swept down the waterfall, hold L+Right to line up as far right as you can without getting stuck on the archway, then just after you pass the from under the arch put on the boots while still holding L+Right. You can now walk over to the safe zone to the right and take off the boots, climb out, jump attack up the small ledge and then transform and carry on.
NOTE: This method is slower than timing boots to stand on the edge of the water-fall and then clawshotting the vines, however this is much safer and still saves time over not doing Rutela Skip at all.
The first video below is when warping the meteor, the second video is during the twilight when collecting the bug and climbing out the water safely
After doing Rutella skip for the second time it is faster (but harder) to sidehop to the right at the edge of the waterfall instead of going all the way around and dropping down from above. The timing window for the sidehop is really strict (3 Frames).
1) Open up the item menu as soon as the A button appears on bottom of the screen.
2) Hold L + Right and close the item menu.
3) Swim until you arrive on the edge of the waterfall after 4 swimming strokes.
4) As soon as Link hits the ground underwater, sidehop right. A good visual cue for this, is Link's right arm extending out for the 4th time.
5) Transform Wolf and Midna jump up to the bug.
Using the Normal Bombs Underwater glitch and starting a cutscene at the same time, it's possible to sink a normal bomb low enough to blow up the rock with the Goron in it.
In the old 100% route (Fixed EMS) you used to enter Lanayru twilight from the normal entrance and then use the shortcuts to get down skipping various things including the kargork flight, this is done by deathwarping is Iza's Lodge coming from Zora's Domain, to do this you have to LJA on the howling stone to get over to the door, this isn't precise at all.
The method for doing this trick is incredibly similar to Infinite Bomb Arrows. A full description of this trick can be found here.
By triggering the barrier fight in Upper Zora's River in a certain way, you can get behind the sign and transform into Wolf Link, allowing you to beat the fight as Wolf Link. Note that you must have Midna Charge to complete the fight as Wolf Link, thus beating Midna's Desperate Hour is required.
Talk to Iza to start the trigger for the fight, then use Iza's shop door to straighten your angle. Take a step back and walk left until Link's right foot reaches the white spot on the ground shown in the video below. Run back to the sign by Iza, avoiding the fight trigger, and transform. Walk into the trigger to start the fight.
There is a bulbin archer at the bottom of the tower with ropes before the very first rope, it is required to kill him before you continue up otherwise he will snipe you down later on. To do this spinattack to deflect his first arrow and then when backs away from you hit him into the water which kills him instantly.
Once on the rooftops it is possible with perfect movement to make a earlier wind cycle that was intended with a diagonal jump from the bridge.
There is a mailman trigger on the bridge that enters Castle Town. It is very thin and easy to LJA over. Firstly stand next to the 3rd post from the chain connects to the bridge. Then just aim over the bridge and LJA once it is over the void
There are two mailman triggers on Lanayru Bridge. It is possible to LJA over both of the triggers by throwing the boomerang just over the side of the bridge once at the trigger.
The first trigger is just after the second broken arch on the right-hand side of the bridge. Then for the second trigger go to the second non-broken arch on the right-hand side after the crack in the floor, from here you can edge forward a little more to the second big brick after the arch.
In the field to the west of castle town there is a run-down area to the south with a chest on a pillar, normally you use the dominion rod with the statue however you can LJA over to it. Make sure you aim slightly above the wall so the boomerang goes over then jump attack as soon as possible.
When learning Jump Strike it is 3.33s faster to spin-attack after doing the Jump Strike as it doesn't knock down the real Hero's Shade
When leaning Greatspin it is 2.73s faster to backflip into the greatspin rather than just a greatspin. This is once again because it doesn't knock down the real Hero's Shade
If you knock down both poes within the same B-charge it isn't possible to collect both of the souls without having to knock the second poe down again. If you B-charge more right as shown in the video you can knock them down in seperate attacks within the same B-charge, this gives you enough time to collect poe souls without having to knock the second poe down again.
Using Epona to clip out of bounds, you can skip the King Bulblin 2 fight without bombs or backslice, saving time in any category with KB2. Park Epona close next to the ledge, then align her parallel with it. Walk forward (you can item buffer the walk if you wish) until Epona's head is just past the corner of the wall. Get off, backflip behind Epona, then let go of L and walk straight down to clip.
It is possible to skip the entire fight with King Bulblin 2 on the bridge if you void out anywhere when the minimap is active near the bridge however this was long thought to be impossible due to there being huge midna triggers and not being able to bomb boost over fences. However it is possible to get OoB at the very start of the escort and then with a bomb-boost from a backslice getting further OoB and be able to roll down to where it is required to void out. The method requires you to get onto the wagon which is rather close, once you do this as soon as the escort starts you have a small window to LJA over onto the cliff where it isn't slippy, another unfortunate side-effect of using the wagon is you only get one attempt at the start of the escort. The best setup so far is outlined below. This trick saves around 50s in 100% currently.
Hold L+up out of the cutscene and go through the text. Open up the item menu as soon as Epona starts to dash, hold down and close the item menu again. Wait for Epona to stop and then hold down left to turn.
As soon as Epona stops turning, press R+A to backflip onto the wagon. Now you want to LJA towards the cliff and land where you can stand, this is a really small window one recommendation is to turn the camera while link is getting back up, also use C-up into boomerang for the extra speed. The targeting needs to be rather quick, also the jump is not very precise.
Now once you are on the cliff stand as high as you can and try to find a spot that minimizes the distance between you and the top. From here turn away and sword drop a bomb so you can then throw the boomerang and catch the bomb in it, now time it so you start your backslice up the cliff as the bomb is coming back, if timed correctly the bomb will damage boost you at the peak of the backslice and you will get on top of the cliff over the seam. From here just roll towards lanayru bridge until you jump through the floor and void out in the right area. You will now respawn after the fight.
When doing Any% No S+Q it is required to get the zora armour as you cannot savewarp in Lakebed to get past the starting tunnel, however you can still skip collecting arrows by beating King Bulbin 2 during the wagon escort with bombs. This is done by throwing bombs at the correct timing. It takes 3 bombs to kill him when you haven't defeated King Bulbin 1, which you normally don't in a run, otherwise it will only take 2 bombs.
It should be noted that his hitbox is quite small for bombs to hit and hence hard to time, also his hitbox extends to the side somewhat also. You can just get a feel for the timing of throwing the bombs or buffer the throw with the item wheel and his head as a visual que.
Here is the unbuffered method with timing of when you pull out bombs and throw them
Here is the buffered method. It still uses the same timing when pulling out the bombs are above so it is suggested you still watch the video above however it uses ques to buffer the throws.
There is also a pretty easy strat to kill King Bulblin 2 with Bombs that is only 3 seconds slower than the unbuffered bomb strat.
Enter the cutscene as Wolf and leave the bridge right after the cutscene played. Now get in the spot shown in the video and dash towards Epona as soon as King Bulblin shows up. Get right next to the wagon and position yourself on the stone slaps facing the corner on the wall.
When KB runs against the wall, simply use Bombs plus Boomerang to kill him. For the third bomb you need to aim significantly higher. Climb Epona after the third hit to trigger the cutscene.
It is possible after using the boomerang on the first kargarok to dash away from the wagon and leave it behind, as long as you killed the bulbins correctly as they spawned the wagon won't set on fire.
However if you leave the wagon behind there is a midna trigger before kakariko that forces you to go back. In Any% No S+Q and 100% this auto walk also makes you walk into the King Bulblin 1 trigger meaning you have to resteal bombs (Assuming you emptied them all) and restart the wagon escort again.
It is possible by standing before the trigger to LJA by throwing the boomerang when the boomerang is inside the wall you can LJA as the boomerang is over the void in the wall. To get in perfect position for the LJA, transform and do 4 sidehops right and 2 L-target rolls forward right after digging under the gate.
