Good evening dear röm häck cummunity, my name is Nico and I'm here to talk with you about something that has been bothering me for quite some time now.

Whenever I open my speedrundotcom profile and scroll all the way down I see an ugly grey question mark within an ugly grey square and it burns my eyes to death.

I'd like to ask you, my higly esteemed colleagues, to give this game an icon no matter how much of a monster this hack is or how much it derves one or not. In my opinion every game on this wonderful website should be treated with equal rights whether it is a meme game or a good game and this little stinking wart shouldn't make an exception.

I know, in our generation, one year after the big Red is Dead era nobody cares about this game anymore and it might seem late to ask this for but I still hope that you guys will be gracious to me and grant my deepest wish.

Thank you for reading this record of my soul's loudest screams.

[Please don't take some things in this text too serious but also don't just ignore what I've said, ok? ... ... ... Please.......?]

Okay, thank you for your replies. I think I'm gonna learn on emulator first and then look for an NTSC console and game if I have fun with Ape Escape.

And thank you Zhank for the gl!

I know about Crash Bandicoot that even though the framerate is lower on PAL, it is the same speed in real time, unlike games like SM64 or MM on the N64. I've read in the SDA Forum that some games got opitmized using PAL 60. Now I wonder if Ape Escape is one of those games, because I might start learning this game.

So if someone has information about this please let me know!

this is a good setup for it: crouchstab the wall around the white texture, drop the bugs and do a horizontal slash by just pressing b you have to hold the empty bottle in your hand before touching the water so quickdraw it sidehop into the water and press b as soon as link hits the water (2 frames as far as I know) don't hold the control stick until link is out of the water again, this might mess things up if link draws his sword you press b to early if you shieldswipe and the bugs appear in you c bottle you press b too late you shildswipe by holding z, r, the c button for the bottle and let go of r near the bugs while still holding z and the bottle button this will put your bugs to your last pressed button which is b cause by shieldswiping you avoid actually pressing the button and trick the game
